Hi, I'm Kara, the heart behind Dolce Flowers. We're a floral lifestyle brand celebrating beauty, presence, and meaningful moments through flowers, thoughtful creations, and intimate gatherings. Who is Dolce? In Italian, dolce means sweet, and that sweet, grounded presence inspired this whole venture. Dolce is a sheepadoodle who represents unconditional joy, slowing down to appreciate the moment, and finding beauty in the simple everyday. When it came time to name this dream, there was no other choice. Dolce Flowers was born from the sweetness he brings to my life and everyone he meets.

As a newly minted athlete, I know firsthand what it takes to cross a finish line: the early mornings, the grit, and the quiet power of showing up for yourself. That journey deeply shaped how I view celebration. Crossing a finish line is not just about a medal. It is about honoring every step it took to get there. Milestones belong to personal wins, bold career pivots, and everyday moments of strength.
The Craft & Care
Bringing those moments to life is a quiet labor of love. My path in floral design is rooted in foundational study at the Toronto Flower School, Greenville Technical College, and Midlands Technical College. Guided by a love for flowers and a mindful approach to design, I continue to nurture my craft through gentle learning, from personal 1:1 sessions with master florist Kristi Berry (owner of Dahlia A Florist) to immersive design workshops across the country. This ongoing journey allows me to bring thoughtful mechanics, intentional balance, and quiet beauty to every piece I create for you.
